I really enjoyed painting these beautiful tulips and how the light
hit the vase and frame.
The abstract painting led me to paint the wall with abstract
touches too. It seemed to pull it all together.

"An Old Read Book"

This book was written back in the 1800's. It's old
and falling apart but that is why I painted it.
Loved the character of the torn pages the binding
is really failing and the pages have turned a
brown color.
When I see this old book, I imagine in my mind someone way back
when holding and reading this book maybe under
candlelight. A different time a different way of living.

When we moved from the bay area in CA to WA state, I thought
Mt. Diablo was huge but when seeing Mt. Rainier for the
first time, it took my breath away, it is so enormous and a beautiful
site to see.

I5 in Oregon, had to get a picture of it to paint. I loved the
field of greens and yellows that complimented
the red barn.
